NO BULLY CLUB AT WALES!! Wales campus had a No Bully assembly with Perform students. The kids observed skits and were provided an anti-bullying lesson by Mrs. Mathison. The activity closed with the debut of the No Bully Club song. It was a great One KM mentoring opportunity that helped teach students how certain behaviors can be hurtful to others .

Hello Wales and Explore Families! We have TWO very important things to note coming up this week! First - TOMORROW (10/21) we are encouraging all staff and students to wear TIE DYE to showcase the saying "PEACE OUT to Bullying" in honor of our anti-bullying assembly at 10am. Second - Our fall book fair is arriving this week! That means its time for grownups to set up their eWallets and sign up to volunteer. We can't make this fair a success without you! Looking forward to a kind, and book-filled last two weeks of October!

FIRST WEEK OF ELEMENTARY SCHOOL!!! It is always exciting to welcome students back and introduce them to a new year of learning. This year, we are really leaning into a culture of One KM. We encourage all of our KM families to explore other schools, schedule tours, meet the staff, talk with families, and attend events at each of our locations. With over 90 square miles, our district is spread out geographically, making our schools feel somewhat isolated from the broader KM Community. As students transition to new schools, whether that be another elementary for 26-27 or to middle and high school, we want them to feel confident in their surroundings. Please visit kmsd.edu/restructure to learn more about the new elementary boundaries and find upcoming events at other schools.
